AI Is Moving Faster Than Cybersecurity Messaging
By CyberEdge Group
One of the quiet realities coming out of the RSAC Conference this year: cybersecurity innovation cycles are now moving faster than most marketing cycles.
AI is a big reason why.
New capabilities are emerging quickly. Product teams are updating positioning more frequently. Analysts and media are reframing the conversation almost weekly. And competitors are constantly adjusting their narratives.
For cybersecurity marketers, this creates a difficult challenge.
The messaging may change every few weeks—but campaign development rarely moves that fast. Creative production, internal approvals, partner coordination, and media planning can stretch timelines into months.
Which means by the time a campaign launches, the conversation may have already moved on.
This is why many cybersecurity marketing teams are rethinking how quickly they can distribute new messaging to the market.
Content syndication, when done well, provides a way to rapidly place updated assets and messaging in front of IT and cyber decision-makers who are actively researching cybersecurity priorities. Instead of waiting for a full campaign buildout, marketers can activate distribution quickly and start engaging the right audience while the topic is still hot.
In a market where the technology—and the messaging—are evolving faster than ever, the speed of distribution is becoming a real competitive advantage.
Ask yourself: how quickly can your current marketing engine get updated messaging in front of security buyers who are actively researching solutions?

[Members Only 🔒] Is lead scoring still worth it?
If sales already jump on high-intent leads… what is lead scoring doing? Hot leads = immediate follow-up.
Scoring is mostly for everything else, and even that’s shifting to fit + engagement (with decay to clean things up). Some teams are even ditching rigid scoring altogether.

A different take on RSAC vendor marketing
