Significant Changes Coming to Microsoft’s Channel Partner Ecosystem by Jay McBain (Canalys)
Microsoft’s 500,000-strong partner network faces a shakeup on October 1. Canalys Chief Analyst Jay McBain warns this could shrink global distribution from 180 players to just 60, sparking M&A talks and reigniting debate on whether financial hurdles help or hurt ecosystem growth.
